Meeker-Peek allows you to stay in a peaceful setting in the rocky mountains close to a very popular area loved by tourists world-wide.

If you want to avoid the crowds, you can hike out the front door and get to the many different trailheads in Roosevelt forest. One trail leads to a mountain pond and another leads to a beautiful ridge overlooking a deep canyon and the St. Vrain river. These trails are scenic and uncrowded. Another popular outdoor activity is horseback riding. There are stables in Allenspark that rent out horses for day trips.

Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park is a definite must in the summer and autumn months. Meeker-Peek is about 3 miles from Wildbasin and 7 mi from the Long's Peak trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park. You are about 15mi from Estes Park downtown so that you can easily visit this popular center to shop, visit the Go-Karts and other amusement centers, swim in the public pool, rent a sailboat on Lake Estes, or play golf on one of the most beautiful mountain courses.
